His observations begin in Ankara and extend to other cities where he lived or visited, including Van and its surroundings in Eastern Anatolia, Çanakkale, and İstanbul. Short trips continue through Thrace and reach Villingen in Germany. The observations then cross the Atlantic to Buffalo and Baltimore, where he lived. He also describes travels along the East Coast of the USA, from Buffalo to Miami, to cities in eastern Canada, and to cities on the West Coast of the USA. His observations to date include many cities in Turkey, Northern Cyprus, Europe, Jamaica in the Caribbean, Egypt, Japan, and Peru in the Southern Hemisphere. Soygeniş's accounts of his experiences in Turkey and abroad are based on the cities and buildings he observed through his living and professional experiences. While writing and sharing his observations about architecture and spaces, it is clear that personal and social events and changes experienced up to the present day have shaped these observations. In this book, he aims to observe and share his experiences regarding the environment, architecture, and spaces, while traveling along the path opened by all these experiences.
