Residential buildings, hotels, commercial buildings, educational facilities, conference halls, and concert halls.
Sylpro provides ideal solutions beneath carpet, parquet, ceramic, and synthetic floor coverings as well as under floating screeds. Thanks to its flexible structure and high mass, it is used in floating floors of industrial buildings to support both sound and vibration insulation. It dampens footfall and heel impact noise generated during walking, improving indoor acoustic comfort. Additionally, it is preferred as a “wall base insulation strip” between walls and floors in both dry and wet wall applications. In projects such as timber building renovations—where the load-bearing capacity of the structure is limited and floating screed applications cannot be preferred for various reasons—it is installed beneath wooden subflooring, particularly at beam-to-floor junctions, preventing the transmission of impact energy through the building structure. Sylpro is manufactured in 3 mm and 5 mm thicknesses with a density of 730 kg/m³ and supplied in rolls with a width of 1.25 m. The 5 mm version has a length of 10 m and a weight of 3.65 kg/m², while the 3 mm version has a length of 20 m and a weight of 2.19 kg/m². The product provides a minimum impact sound reduction of 19 dB (tested according to UNI EN ISO 10140-3:2015) and has a thermal conductivity of 0.12 W/mK.
