Highmat is a sound and thermal insulation board developed to meet the highest levels of acoustic insulation requirements and is compatible with all types of floor systems. It consists of high-density load-bearing strips combined with polyester fiber panels. Thanks to this strip system, the contact surface is reduced, enabling superior performance—particularly at low frequencies, which are typically difficult to insulate. Highmat is manufactured in 20 mm, 30 mm, and 50 mm thicknesses, with standard dimensions of 0.60 m in width and 1.00 m in length. It provides impact sound reduction values of ΔLw = 34 dB, 36 dB, and 39 dB respectively (tested in accordance with UNI EN ISO 10140-3:2015), and has a thermal conductivity of 0.040 W/mK.
