FV125 is a fire-resistant product designed to function as an external wall cavity barrier where required, such as around partition floors, windows, doors, etc., and uninsulated voids requiring permanent (open) ventilation, restoring fire resistance performance. In the event of a fire, FV125 expands to seal the final gap between its leading edge and the inner surface of the cladding. Depending on the structure of the external walls, it provides effective fire resistance for integrity and insulation for up to 180 minutes. FV125 is designed for use in a void up to 450 mm and, upon installation, seals the remaining free air gap (in front of the 4 mm thick void barrier) by 25 mm. Convenient for modular construction.
• Tested for 60 minutes of fire resistance according to ASFP TGD 19 guidelines.
• Provides 25 mm of airflow.
• Tested in gaps up to 450 mm.
• Fixing brackets are included as standard.
