FP170 Fire-Stopping Pipe Collars are designed to maintain the fire resistance of floors and walls through which combustible pipes pass. In the event of a fire, the intumescent inlay expands to many times its original thickness, exerting pressure on the softening pipe and closing the opening with a dense fire-resistant char block. FP170 can also be used around insulated combustible pipes or continuously insulated non-combustible pipes.

Durability: Mechanical and durability tests in accordance with ETAG 026-2; Y2 (internal use across the full ambient temperature range, including temperatures below 0°C).
