Founded in Ankara in 1986 by Semra Uygur and Özcan Uygur, Uygur Architecture has been designing urban and architectural projects for 35 years. Uygur Architecture has significant experience in large-scale private and public office buildings, as well as notable work on cultural and educational structures.
Interpreting requirements and function is a crucial phase of the design process for Uygur Architecture. In most cases, requirements and programs are developed and modified in collaboration with the client. Uygur Architecture's core approach is that spatial design applies not only to users but also to the surrounding community. This is what they call "Reciprocal Architecture."
