Founded by Ünal Şahin in 1990, the architectural firm expanded its operations with the addition of Barancan Şahin and Burcu Akgün Şahin to the partnership in 2018, and continues to operate under the name UBB Architects. Based in Mersin, the firm aims to offer solutions to urban challenges with a contemporary architectural approach for livable cities.
