Silent Sand Panel is a superior sound insulation panel formed by combining corrugated cardboard and quartz sand. The sand grains filling the pores of the corrugated cardboard absorb sound by converting sound energy into heat energy. Sand is a substance used in sound insulation for many years. When the grained structure of sand is compressed, it acts as a barrier that insulates sound waves. This superior feature absorbs the impact in impact-induced sounds, while it provides tremendous results in terms of sound insulation in air-borne sounds. The panels weighing approximately 13.5 kg are 13.5 mm thick and 600*1200* mm in size. They are easily cut with a jigsaw, utility knife or circular saw. They are mounted on the edge where they are cut.
