Hazan Architecture was founded in Ankara in 1983 by Yakup Hazan, a graduate architect and restoration specialist. Architect Tolga Hazan joined the Hazan Architecture team as a partner in 2012 and managed the firm's London office for two years. He has been based in Ankara since 2014. Hazan Architecture has considered architectural design competitions a vital platform in developing its contemporary design approach. The firm has received over 40 awards and honorable mentions in architectural design competitions, including 10 first-place awards.
The firm provides services in the fields of architectural concept design, architectural implementation, project management, supervision, consulting, restoration, and restitution. Since its founding, Hazan Architecture has designed a wide variety of contemporary and original structures, including airports, bus terminals, public and cultural buildings, tourist resorts, offices, and private residences. In addition, the firm has carried out numerous restoration and research works.
