Autoban, an internationally renowned, Istanbul-based multidisciplinary design studio, was founded in 2003 by Seyhan Özdemir and Sefer Çağlar. Autoban works in the fields of architecture and interiors, product and experiential design, producing projects that prioritize ideas, experience, and craftsmanship.
The Autoban team approaches each project by focusing on understanding the project's character and context. Each element is enriched with a unique, space-centric approach that blends minimal forms with rich materials. With a broad portfolio encompassing developments in transportation, commercial, retail, and office typologies, Autoban's work is characterized by familiar forms and materials reimagined in contemporary ways.
Drawing inspiration from Istanbul's atmosphere, Autoban's projects are now also located in London, Madrid, Hong Kong, Moscow, China, and Azerbaijan. Autoban's signature furniture and lighting series is sold in over 60 locations worldwide.
