Şişecam Tentesol and Şişecam Tentesol Titanium are Şişecam Flat Glass's reflective solar control glass. It is available in silver, green, smoked, bronze, and blue colors. Due to the properties of Tentesol Titanium coating, the bottom glass color is observed more clearly compared to Şişecam Tentesol. Due to their lower light transmittance compared to clear flat glass, Şişecam Tentesol and Şişecam Tentesol Titanium provide controlled light transmittance and solar control. Şişecam Tentesol and Şişecam Tentesol Titanium can be used as double glass or single plate. In the double glass unit created with Şişecam Low-E Glass or Şişecam Temperable Low-E Glass Neutral 71/53, they also save on heating costs in addition to saving on cooling costs, thanks to its solar control feature. Advantages: • When used as facade glass, it limits the penetration of solar heat into the building, controls the excessive brightness of the sun, and provides a comfortable working and living environment. • In buildings with curtain walls, it provides visual integrity by hiding building elements such as columns, beams, parapets, floors, suspended ceilings, and installation gaps, thanks to its reflective (sunlight reflection) feature.• It creates a mirror effect when viewed from the direction where the light is strong. For instance, it provides a one-way view from the inside to the outside during the day, and from the outside to the inside at night. • The color is prominent when the coated surface is used facing the inside (2nd surface), and the reflection is prominent when it is used facing the outside (1st surface). • Tempering, partial tempering, bending, enamel printing, and laminating can be done. • With its different color alternatives, it offers designers and users a wide range to create decorative and stylish spaces.
