URTİM Continues to Meet with Univeristy Students
During the 2018-2019 academic year, URTİM met with approximately 5000 students from 32 different universities with the activities and sponsorships at Boğaziçi, Yıldız Teknik, MEF, İstanbul, Karadeniz Teknik, Süleyman Demirel and Kocaeli universities. provided support to their development.

Stating that the industry-school cooperation is of great importance for the sector and the country, Serdar Urfalılar, Chairman of URTİM Formwork and Scaffolding Systems, said: “Last year, we started to focus on our educational projects. We carry out studies and collaborations with different educational institutions. We are very happy to share our 39 years of experience in the sector with the students and make them practice on our sector. We want the students to be informed about the mold and scaffold before going to the construction site. Through various workshops, we offer different models of teamwork and increased analytical thinking skills. We share our experiences in working life and try to guide our students. We will continue our efforts to increase our educated workforce and to support students' career determination processes ”
Serdar Urfalılar stated that going to universities outside Istanbul this year and being together with our young people who are the future of Turkey is a good step in terms of “equal opportunity in education” which they have always advocated. He expressed that seeing the enthusiasm in young people gave him an indescribable happiness.
Meeting with Candidates of Engineers and Architects from all over the country
During this period, URTIM closely followed the calendars of the universities and offered participants from different parts of Turkey a chance to experience the installation of materials and systems. Yildiz Technical University-First Helmet and CivilIstanbul events
In October 2018, Yıldız Teknik university activities started with “first Barem” and continued with CivilIstanbul career events that took place in March. URTIM has had the opportunity to transfer their experiences to students from many different universities through sectoral presentations and workshops.
Construction Summit Meeting'19 with Students in Isparta
URTİM met with students in Isparta for the first time this year at the Construction Summit held at Süleyman Demirel University. The event, which is the scene of intense interest of the students, will be enriched with workshops in the future.
Excitement at the DECO Steel Bridge Competition at Boğaziçi University
Another activity in the students' building calendars was the DECO Steel Bridge Competition, sponsored by URTİM, which was held on 16-18 April at Boğaziçi University. The second and third days of the competition, which showed great interest to the students, continued with the Safe Formwork and Scaffolding Workshop organized by URTİM.
The teams that won the Deco Steel Bridge Competition 2019 were listed as follows:

- Istanbul University
In addition, the Romemlet Team Diamond was awarded the Technical University of Civil Engineering in Bucharest.

İLK IM-2019 Event - Karadeniz Technical University
Under the sponsorship of URTİM, the students had the opportunity to participate in the Safe Scaffolding and Formwork Workshop within the scope of İLK-İM 2019 event, which was held on 21-24 April at Karadeniz Technical University. The students were informed with presentations about the company and the sector.
TİMOB 2019 Held at Kocaeli University
This year, Kocaeli University organized TİMOB'da URTIM was with the students again. In addition to the safe mold and scaffolding workshop, presentations were made by the company officials to promote the sector and the company at the event where many universities in Turkey are represented.
Safe Formwork and Scaffolding Workshop Meets with MEF University Students
URTİM was with MEF University students on the last day of April. The event, which was the scene of pleasant moments with trainings and presentations, was completed with the Safe Formwork and Scaffolding Workshop.
End of Academic Calendar with Istanbul University Event
In the first week of May, URTİM held a workshop and presentation at the Avcılar Campus of Istanbul University, at the invitation of Cerrahpaşa Engineering Faculty Construction Club. This year, Yildiz Technical University and Nişantaşı University began with the first-class engineering students continued activities throughout the year at different universities.
