Used for public areas (theater, library, school, hospital etc.)

The product enlarges by volume while in contact with fire. By spatula residues can be removed from deformed surface and new application can be done after sanding. Certificate of fire retardant will be valid only if fire resistant MDF, BP900.77 Fire Retardant Polyurethane Primer Paint and BP900.25 Fire Retardant Polyurethane Matt Paint applied together.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Before application, the surface must be sanded with 220-400 grit sandpaper, removed from dust and other foreign materials (oil, silicone, varnish residues, etc.). Excessive surface abrasion may reduce fire retardant property. Ideal application is 3 coats of primer and one coat of top coat. For higher fire retardancy more coats / quantitiy can be applied.
