Duravit Tempano: Contemporary Design, Easy and Standard Assembly
The shower area stands out as one of the most challenging areas in the layout of the bathrooms. For this reason, Duravit developed the new shower tray series Tempano, taking into account the different requirements that may arise during installation.
The height of the Tempano shower trays can be adjusted during installation according to the needs of the bathroom. The water drain is 50 mm high as standard and can be increased to 110 mm, especially when combined with the Duravit drain, which has been developed for support legs. This height can be reduced by up to 40 mm when the shower tray is mounted on low floor without the use of support legs.
Tempano’s support leg comes pre-assembled and can be adjusted to the floor thanks to the accompanying templates and adjustable feet, which can be accessed from above during the installation of the shower tray.
The Duravit design makes it possible to check the drain and drain pipe for possible leaks before replacing the shower tray. The sealing strip is attached to the bottom of the shower tray and is integrated into the waterproof structure of the product, making it easy to comply with DIN 18534 waterproofing standards.
The Tempano complies with the DIN 4109 sound-proofing standards as well as the more stringent SIA 181 standards in Switzerland.
Duravit’s new shower tray, the Tempano, can be mounted to the floor with or without support, zero, floor or semi-recessed. Tempano’s inclined design extending straight to the drain and the drain located close to the side make it easier to drain.
There are 27 different size options. The bright white acrylic color of Tempano fits perfectly with bathroom ceramics.
All of the Tempano series shower trays also have a non-slip option that complies with DIN 51097 standards and helps the feet to step more firmly on the floor when showering.
