Guardian Industries was founded in 1932 as Guardian Glass Company. Headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA. It is one of the world's leading companies in the global production of building materials, flat glass, specialty glass and fiberglass insulation for the commercial, residential and automobile markets.
Today, there are flat glass production lines and glass processing plants all over the world. Guardian opened the Science and Technology Center in Carleton, Michigan in 2000 to further optimize its range of products for commercial spaces, residences, interior decoration, solar energy, electronics and automotive industries.
Guardian also operates a comprehensive European network of glass for the construction and automotive industry.
Guardian is always close to the markets and customers thanks to the production and sales centers it operates with its local management approach. The European adventure, which began in 1981 with the float glass plant in Bascharage, Luxembourg, continues today with great success with 10 float glass production lines and 8 ultramodern off-line coating plants in eight different European countries.
