The GOLDEN PLUMB Architecture Awards is a multi-channeling competition that will bring together all the companies that have participated in the GOLDEN PLUMB Building Catalog Awards and the Turkish architects who have just entered the sector.
Within the scope of this competition, the products that companies applying for GOLDEN PLUMB participate in the award will be the main material for the Architects who will participate in this competition. Turkish architects (who where born after January 1st, 1980) will compete to create the best design within the framework of the design concept set for 2020, with the products conveyed by the participating companies.
The jury of the GOLDEN PLUMB Architecture Awards will also serve as the jury of this competition.
BUILDING CATALOG will be the host and curator of the GOLDEN PLUMB Architecture Awards.
In each year’s theme, a model/project installation will be exhibited after a design competition where the materials of architects and building material companies meet. In this category, which is obliged to use building materials (not of the same type, not using in the same place) in accordance with the theme, the theme of 2020 has been determined as “Mobile Living Unit”.
