Additionally, a waiting lounge on the ground floor caters to the needs of visitors and clients.
In these spaces, volume acoustics, speech intelligibility, noise control, and comfort play crucial roles. However, the architectural design and material selection of these areas can adversely affect acoustic performance. For instance, in meeting rooms, high ceilings, hard floors, and walls can cause sound reflection and reverberation, hindering the clear projection of speakers' voices. Similarly, in the waiting lounge, the multitude of conversations, phone calls, or music can elevate noise levels, potentially causing discomfort for visitors and clients.
Qubi, an expert in sound insulation, devised solution proposals for Erciyas Holding through volume acoustic applications. Tailored acoustic performance was achieved through hanging acoustic panels such as canopies and baffles. These panels, with their sound-absorbing properties, can reduce sound reflections, thereby shortening echo duration. Furthermore, the color, shape, and dimensions of these panels can be customized to align with architectural design.
